Nickel Wire Mesh/Nickel screen is made of high purity nickel wire. It has outstanding resistance to acids and alkalis.
Nickel Wire Mesh is widely used in corrosive environments as for filtration of liquid, gas, etc.
Plain woven nickel wire mesh is one of the most popular used mesh type. It has outstanding stability and filter precision properties.
The characteristics of plain woven nickel wire mesh:
Each weft wire passes over one and under one warp wire, and each warp wire passes over one and under one weft wire, every weft wire have and warp wire the same diameter.
Fabric shall be formed by spacing the main and cross wires at a right angle.
When the entire main and cross wires are parallel and equally intervals, the mesh forms a square, and, when the width is different,it becomes rectangular.
Nickel Wire Mesh available material grades:

Nickel Wire Mesh Characteristics
Wire Diameter: 0.03mm-16mm
Mesh: up to 400mesh/inch
The mesh can be produced according to customer's requirements.
1: Good resistance to corrosion in acids and alkalis and is most useful under reducing conditions.
2: Outstanding resistance to caustic alkalis up to and including the molten state.
3: Virtually immune to inter granular attack above 315oC, chlorates must be kept to a minimum.
4: In acid, alkaline and neutral salt solutions the material shows good resistance, but in oxidizing salt solutions severe attack will occur.
5. Resistant to all dry gases at room temperature and in dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride may be used in temperatures up to 550oC.
6. Resistance to mineral acids varies according to temperature and concentration and whether the solution is aerated or not. Corrosion resistance is better in de-aerated acid
Special specifications can be produced by the customer's requirements.
