Introduction of nickel alloy                                                                                              

Alloy400 has corrosion resistant properties against flowing sea-water snd is extensively used for marine 

application. Alloy 400is also extremely resistant to stress corrosion cracking in most fresh-waters. Alloy 400 

is used in steam generators, feedwater heaters, cladding of offshore installations, pump and propeller 

shafts, marine fixtures and fasteners, also chemical processing equipments.

Alloy K-500 is nickel-copper super alloy with characteristics and coeeosion resistance same as the alloy 

400.Due to the addition of aluminum and alloy K-500 offers greater strength and hardness than alloy 400.

Application                                                                                                                        

Nickel alloy is widely used in many fields, especially marine and chemical processing. Typical applications 

are valves and pumps; pump and propeller shafts; marine fixtures and fasteners; electrical and electronic 

components; springs; chemical processing equipment; gasoline and fresh water tanks; crude petroleum stills, 

process vessels and piping; boiler feed water heaters and other heat exchangers; and deaerating heaters. 

Feature                                                                                                                            

The alloy in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas medium has excellent corrosion resistance, the hot strong 

alkali and has excellent corrosion resistance.Also resistant to neutral solution, water and sea water, atmosphere, 

organic compounds, such as corrosion.An important feature of the alloy is generally do not produce stress 

corrosion crack, good cutting performance.
